My Story

Welcome, I’m Maggie Eskridge, I was born and raised in Kentucky and currently based here. My passion is storytelling. I was first introduced to the creative world when I was 8 years old, through theatre. This gave me a deep love and appreciation for stories and building worlds. It provided me with a different lens in which to see the world. I then went on to study theatre at Santa Fe University of Art and Design. I would always look at my projects with the eyes of a photographer, it wasn’t until after college I realized my deep passion for photography. 

I found when I was taking a picture, I was capturing a moment in time. Moments in time are so precious and oftentimes they pass us by and we forget to see the beauty, happiness, joy, sorrow, pain, and love that happens everyday. Through photography I want to capture those moments and hopefully bring light and empathy to the world. My goal as a photographer is to connect with people and tell their stories, unfiltered, raw, and wonderful as they are.
